Conflict-Free Sourcing Policy
Armed rebel groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and surrounding countries in Africa have caused many social and environmental problems, including human rights violations and armed violence, through metal mining and trade, sparking international controversy. This type of metal mineral includes minerals such as tantalum (Ta), tin (Tin, Sn), tungsten (W), gold (Au), cobalt (Co), and mica (Mica). Metal minerals that are smuggled, controlled by non-governmental armed groups, or illegal military factions are all considered conflict minerals.
Suzhou TFC Optical Communication Co., Ltd. strictly adheres to the IPC-1755 Conflict Minerals Data Exchange Standards in the electronics industry and does not purchase or support the use of conflict minerals. And require all suppliers in the supply chain not to use or purchase conflict minerals, while conducting due diligence on the metal sources of suppliers. We use CMRT and EMRT as survey forms, requiring suppliers to disclose their mineral sources and jointly comply with the policy of conflict free minerals.
